Obtaining a SIP card depends entirely on your situation (retiree, employee, self-employed, or inactive), and Torrevieja health centers (Centros de Salud) are very strict. An incorrect Social Security document (such as a poorly processed S1 form) or an outdated Padrón certificate can lead to an immediate rejection.
